August 21, 2026 Truly a great concept & resource! I expect the database will grow & become more comprehensive over time, but can only rate 4 stars for now since none of the brands I've searched have come up. Also, it would be so helpful to either be able to search lists by category (i.e. cosmetics, clothes, supplements, etc.) or integrate / add an alternatives link to each boycotted brand so that making the choice to switch is that much easier. This is where I would find the most value. Ty for making this app!
May 6, 2024 This app works just as advertised. Simple, fast and effective. There seems to be a concerted effort to defame it by saying it does not recognize items. But it worked for everything I tried it on. If your bar code is not recognized, pull the phone back from the code slowly and it will recognize it. At the end it is just a scanner and comparison against a database. Not a lot can go wrong in app functionality. The real work is maintaining the lists. Kudos to the team on that.
May 8, 2024 Works Great! I been reading through all the brands on the list (which is very nice to look at btw) and scanning things around my house. The only problem is that for some of the links, like Subway, it went to a font website. I was looking because I work there, and it kept sending me to the wrong site. If that could be fixed, that would be great!
